Off to Toronto

Well I'm off to the Great White North for Nutcracker and Christmas. I won't be back until January, so Missing James will have a wee break for the holiday season. Once I get back I'll know how my life unfolds next year - so more corsets will be made. All y'all have a WONDERFUL holiday season! Merry Christmas!

my design icon

Adam Ant is my idol. To be able to pull off a 18th Century outfit in the 20th, is unreal. Can I do that? Can I wear my costume every day?

The photoshoot went ahead last night. It was SOOO  much fun, but I realized that I'm not cut out for the modeling life. The costumes looked great, and the photography was fantastic. I just got really tired, so my game fell around 11pm. We had a lot of passer-biers and they all loved the outfit, but I was worried some people would think I was a hooker (that's why I made the long skirt, to make it less hooker-ish).  We were also very lucky that the rain held off. Tim wanted some sprinkling to get an artistic sheer around the ground, but I was happy to have a dry landscape to work on. That made the horrible vintage heels as bit easier to deal with.

Hopefully photos come soon and I'll have to get permission from Tim to post them. I will let you know when the time comes.

For now, just be happy that I had fun.
